Time for our community to become more rewarding
… in the more literal sense 
TimescaleDB OGs (original gangsters… you know who you are!) may well recall we had a “heroes” program in the past. Things have changed up a bit, and we’re working on a new Time Travelers program.
The idea of this program is that it also rewards all the little steps that folks make to help each other, and to learn more about TimescaleDB and Promscale. Our forum software – Discourse – includes algorithms that each month identifies two new forum users of the month, and we send a thank you voucher for a free Timescale tee and two stickers. They also get a permanent forum badge for “new user of the month”.
As the program grows, more rewards will be built. Of course, we love and encourage folks to talk about TimescaleDB at meetups and events, and we’re more than happy to give all the help you need (just get in touch). But we also value all kinds of contributions. You can get ideas from that Time Travelers post.
