Telegraf Retention Policy database

Dear,

I am conducting tests with TimescaleDB and Telegraf for use in a production environment. I have configured Telegraf to collect data and store it in a database I created. Telegraf has created tables and inserted data into them.

However, I noticed that these tables do not have a retention policy. How can I add one to the database?

Could someone help me ?

Can you explain in detail? Also are creating a retention policy after table creation?

Example:
SELECT add_retention_policy(‘table_name’, INTERVAL ’ 1 days’);
