Revenue Operations Lead - PLG (United States)


What you will do

In this role, you will be a partner to the Sales and Customer Success team, owning the end-to-end operational strategy. You will be responsible for owning essential business processes from vision to execution. This role is a multiplier function for the revenue team, ensuring that the team is optimized and running efficiently. The right candidate for this role has experience in tool implementation and maintenance, strategy development, process ownership, data analysis, and operational execution

As a Revenue Operations Lead  at Timescale🐯, you will be a strategic business partner, ensuring operational cadence, data, systems, and processes to drive success and help scale our revenue team. 

This role is remote position in the United States, and English language fluency is a requirement.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Outline and own the revenue operations strategy end to end. 
  • Establish operational cadence and design for territories, quotes, compensation, and ongoing measurements. 
  • Focus on driving improvements through implementing, optimizing, and scaling systems, policies, and processes. 
  • Program lead for strategic and complex problems that help drive effectiveness. 
  • Own and report on key metrics such as pipeline, forecast, conversion, and so on. 
  • Act as a trusted advisor to our sales and customer success teams to improve execution. 
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure alignment across key stakeholders.

You also:

  • 5+ years of experience in revenue or sales operations with a product led growth company. 
  • Highly Analytical with the ability to prioritize and juggle multiple cross-functional projects. 
  • Critical thinker who can quickly diagnose problems with a hypothesis and quantify the impact. 
  • Excellent communication (interpersonal and presentation) skills. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. 
  • Experience developing reports, dashboards, and metrics across Salesforce, Grafana, Excel, and other tools in the Sales techstack.  
  • Self-starter who enjoys working in a dynamic, collaborative, and high-growth environment.
